Nat's grandma is 96 but that's nothing compared to these ladies--all of whom appear to have their wits (and wigs LOL) about them. Maggie Mae is 114; the baby sister is 103. Carrie Lee no doubt has "middle child" syndrome at 107. Imagine the things these women have seen. And endured. That's American History, talking to you.

You want to bet they didn't have children and husbands to crush their spirit and suck to the life out of them.
They probably buried their husbands back in the 50s.
Has anyone interviewed them besides the La. person? I would hate to think that our cultural treasure is under the control of Bobby Jindal.

Actually, Aunt Sugar or Maggie had 7 husbands and raised a lot of children, Rosie had 7 children, Carrie had 1 husband and 1 child. They are a wonderful trio and tell great stories.
Sadly, Oprah, Jet, and Ebony were not interested. Maybe now they will take note.
