Super Tuesday

The TV "news" networks live for horseraces like this. Is it good for democracy? When since did that make a difference? Hmmm? But let us not forget it's also mardi gras. Tomorrow, we go get that ash on our foreheads. Tomorrow, we're supposed to cleanse ourselves and act like better people. We'll see. Hope abounds, and if it's gone, you can always get it back. Look at the NY Giants, after all.

I like the idea of a national Primary. I'm surprised it didn't happen before. I'll certainly be watching the "news" tonight.

Hi Chris, one of your '78 McD classmates dropping a line from the Boston burbs. My nine year old daughter proudly reported the results of her fourth grade class mock primary election: 17 for Obama (her candidate), 6 for Clinton, and one for Romney.

I'll be watching the returns tonight with interest. Love your blog.

Boston burbs, huh? Could be anyone, but I bet your name rhymes with "Roll?"

Chris, this is by far one of the most interesting election races in many, many years. I remember going to vote in the 2004 election, and choosing Kerry because I wanted a change. Looking back now, I see that may not have been my wisest choice. However it is so refreshing to be able to participate in an election with so many interesting choices. I look forward to casting my ballot next week. I am eagerly awaiting the poll results tonight.

Not even Lent will quell the hype and harshness of this election, Nat Turner. The Republicans are imploding over John McCain, and "Missy Ann" is showing her true colors as she propels Hillary against Barack. Bizarre how white women and others can hold solidarity but we have to cave in to "quid pro quo" and spookery eh?

Maybe the original Nat Turner was right? Only in suffering do we become free. Only in combat. But I did my part and voted, and tomorrow I'll go to mass. I promise you I will be full of hope.

Now PLEASE stop teasing us about The Darker Mask. I went to one of your co-author's websites and she has more on it than you do! It can be pre-ordered on Amazon and Barnes and Noble now! Why are you doing this to me! My boyfriend is even crazier as he wants to know if you'll do a game or animation!

Mr. Author, I voted for Hillary in the Alabama primary, and I am a volunteer in the Mobile committee. I love your views (usually) and your work, and God bless you for becoming a Hoya, but on this issue of the election, we must part.

My only fear is that there'll be a fight at the Convention and the bad blood will put a Republican back in the White House. McCain is the lesser of many evils, but he's still evil. So let's all remember to keep our eyes on the true prize.

I think Hillary will be on the ropes soon. She won out here in Cali, but Obama took a lot of delegates and he looks like he can dogfight her down. Too bad us culud folk didn't seem as united as the Hispanics, bruh. Never mind however, because Obama's got the cash.
