Good for some yucks on Groundhog Day. Recognize Ron Livingston (Office Space), Mike Epps (who always plays ghettofab clowns) and Lindsay Sloane (Bring it On). Ice Cube produced the short.
Professor I am of two minds of this.... Yes it's totally tasteless, without serious social merit, racially & culturally offensive, and of course it’s very politically incorrect... BUT then again – IT’S FUNNY!
Are you now proposing that we all need to learn to get along, not get offended or take offense at “bad” humor, and please stop taking comedy so seriously?
If so Lenny Bruce would salute you… I mean damn - It's comedy!
Wasn’t Oscar Wilde credited with saying that there is no such thing as obscene art? Art can only be bad or good! If that’s so, then we sooo need to start applying that same standard to comedy.
If we don’t it won’t be long before we can’t laugh at anything for fear of hurting other people’s feelings!
