Friday Funnies

Jaws V...Fire Island. Yes, funnier than Sen. John Warner turning against the "Retard-in-Chief"(blame Ben Affleck and Matt Damon on Bill Mahr's HBO show for that one) on Iraq. Funnier than the Republicans in Va. voting to extend the $750 traffic fines to out of state folk (rather than just raise taxes to pay for alleviating the choking traffic jams and nightmarish commutes in No. Va. and the Tidewater--that's for all of you fanboys and girls in Arlington, Fairfax, and Alexandria).

Have a happy, happy end of summer...and beware if you're gay and frolicking in the surf!

Chris,
This is sick! But, I have to admit that Family Guy is one of the funnier adult cartoons out there. Much funnier I think than the Simpsons. Seth McFarland really pushes some buttons on this show, but he does it with such incredible humor, you can't help but laugh. Good one!

Vick-watch: Goodell suspended him indefinetly. More comments from your boy who runs the NAACP in Atlanta today!

When is Aaron MacGruder coming back?

Lisa:
So do you think the animated version of "Boondocks" is better than "Family Guy?" I don't think it's a contest. "Family Guy" rules.

Re: Vick, his "plea" was nebulous and self serving, so I'm betting he'll get the max.

The indefinite suspension is actually a victory for him. There is such a thing as permenant suspension and it's irrevocable. Here, he could conceivably request reinstatement and get it.
